Rubber screen ZD10 special features: particularly effective at handling wet, sticky, or fine materials that might clog traditional screens and are often easy to replace or clean.
Rubber screens: rubbers screens, also called rubber mats are particularly designed for wet or sticky materials. Their unique design allows them to efficiently separate particles of different sizes. They are part of the secondary screeners on crushers or for the screen decks in screening equipment for your specific areas of use. They are used in various industries including mining, quarrying, construction, recycling, waste, chemical manufacturing and food processing.
Function: the primary function of the rubber screen in a screener is to separate material particles according to their size. As material feeds through the screener, the smaller particles pass through the openings in the rubber screen, while larger particles remain on top and are discharged separately. By using a rubber screen with a specific mesh size (opening size), the screener can achieve a desired final product size for the material passing through.
Design consideration: There are different designs which can be considered:
Mesh Size: The mesh size of the rubber screen is critical for separation efficiency. A screen with a smaller mesh size will allow only very small particles to pass through, while a larger mesh size will allow larger particles to pass.
Thickness: The thickness of the rubber screens/ mats used in the screen affects its strength and durability. Thicker rubber screens/mats are generally more robust but may also have a slightly lower open area, potentially impacting throughput.
Weaving Pattern: The specific weaving pattern of the rubber screens/ mats can influence factors like screen strength, opening size consistency, and potential blinding (material clogging the openings).
Types of rubber screens: The rubber screens can be delivered in square, round, round end slotted holes openings, each with its own advantages.
Efficiency and cost savings: rubbers screens play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and productive material processing in screeners and crushers. Their ability to accurately separate materials, control size reduction, and improve product quality makes them a valuable asset in various crushing and screening applications.
