With the 24-ton Miura 1500, Lindner introduces a unique, progressive shredder in which the shredding shafts can be changed very easily and quickly using a quick-change system. Thanks to the quick-change system, the two shredding shafts can be changed within half an hour if they are of the same type.
As with the Lindner Urraco series, different types of shafts are available in the Miura depending on the application and the product to be shredded, whereby the number of discs and tools on the shafts can vary.
The structure and operation of the Lindner Miura 1500 and Urraco 75 are the same for the shredding, using the two 1,500 mm long shredding shafts that can rotate both forwards and backwards to shred the product. The number of discs on the shafts corresponds to a number of counter-combs on the side combs that are mounted in the crushing chamber. If the number of discs on the shafts remains the same, changing is possible within half an hour. If both the shafts and the side cams need to be changed, then you should take into account about 1.5 hours of changing time from stopping to starting again. The shafts are speed adjustable between 10 and 30 revolutions per minute.
The unique FX quick-change system developed by Lindner makes it possible to remove the two reduction shafts from the machine in one go using a special lifting yoke. This is possible because hydraulic cylinders at the rear of the crushing chamber ensure that part of the rear wall is unlocked and the shafts are released complete with bearings for disassembly. Of course, installation is just as easy. The sides of the crushing chamber are also folded open using a hydraulic cylinder so that the work can be carried out safely and clearly. The side combs can also be changed or maintained from ground level if necessary.
The quick-change system makes the Miura very easy to maintain and can be quickly adapted for all work to be carried out if desired, which is certainly interesting for recycling companies and rental companies.
A sustainable Scania DC09 085A engine with 350 hp has been installed for the drive in the Lindner Miura 1500. This 5-cylinder diesel engine with a capacity of 9.3 litres meets the latest Tier IV final emission requirements. The mounted SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system ensures the after-treatment of the exhaust gases by means of Ad Blue, in combination with EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) they ensure that the emission is as low as possible and the fuel consumption is kept to a minimum. As is known, the Scania industrial engines are not only very strong and reliable, they are also very economical due to their control given the power that is delivered. The generously sized coolers are equipped with a reversible fan as standard so that working in a dusty environment is no problem because the fan reverses the air flow direction at self-adjustable moments and cleans the coolers. All fluids of the machine can be easily drained and filled for maintenance via quick couplings.
The Bosch-Rexroth pumps are connected directly behind the Scania, which in turn provide the Lindner drive on the axles with hydraulic power. This system is fully controlled by a Canbus system with PLC so that all information from the components can work together optimally.
The entire machine is controlled via a color display in which all functions can be easily controlled. The control includes many standard programs in which the speeds and directions of rotation are programmed with times. Of course, other programs can also be set so that the optimal setting is fixed for each reduction.
All prices are Ex Works, Where-is and in As-Is condition unless mentioned otherwise.
